About Mats

Mats Lignell has photographed, filmed and interviewed in Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Ethiopia, Kenya, Sierra Leone, South Africa, Tanzania, Ukraine, The Occupied Palestinian Territory and Colombia for the last 20 years.

He has worked for and with Save the Children, UNICEF, Reuters, The IKEA Foundation, ActionAid, British Airways, The Astrid Lindgren Company and The Economist.
